MANUFACTURING

With a capacity of 15000 MTPA, the Fastener manufacturing processes have been carefully formulated and optimized over a decade, to meet and exceed the quality, cost, and delivery expectations for our customers. We provide custom-made solutions keeping in mind customer specifications and applications. Our collaborative approach and emphasis on the customer's precise requirements and value addition in terms of design and process optimization help in successfully rolling out new products as per APQP. Our manufacturing facility is completely integrated, spanning wire drawing, annealing, cold forging, continuous heat treatment, secondary machining, finishing and inspection all under one roof.

We invest continuously in new technologies for engineering and manufacturing process optimization. Our evolving capabilities have enabled us to not only upgrade and improve our existing product lines but also introduce new ones with contemporary design and technology, comparable with the best in the world. The state-of-the-art plating facility with multiple lines offers various surface finishes as per industry requirements.

  • In-house wire drawing and annealing facility to ensure raw material quality.
  • Brand new imported multi-station bolt and nut formers to produce consistent quality fasteners.
  • Fully equipped laboratory to inspect and certify products as per customer specifications and standards.
  • Fully automatic computerized mesh belt hardening and tempering furnace with controlled atmosphere.
  • In-house secondary operations like CNC machining, centerless grinding and circular rolling.
  • In-house tool room for tool modifications and improvements.

All input raw material required to produce fasteners is processed using industry best practices at our wire processing facility. The raw material is sourced from established and approved suppliers in the form of coils.

  • RM wires are first collected at wire drawing.
  • Inspection of RM is carried out using various tests at the plant.
  • Pickling, Phosphating, drawing and annealing operations are done as per specifications.
  • Ready-to-forge wires are moved to forging area.

Our cold forging machines are from international brands with state-of-the-art features and hence, facilitate quick set-up change overs.

High speed flat and circular thread rolling machines with precise output.

Heat treatment is a critical process in Fasteners manufacturing. The consistency of heat treatment determines the quality of Fasteners. At Mangal, we have world-class continuous mesh belt furnaces with SCADA controls.

Secondary operations such as turning, grinding, drilling, facing etc. are done on CNC and centerless grinding machines.

With multiple plating lines and continuous processing, we are currently offering surface treatments in

  • Zinc Trivalent/Hexavalent Plating (Blue/Green/Yellow)
  • Zinc Iron Plating
  • ZAC and Zn-Ni

ENGINEERING

Our in-house engineering team possesses exceptional capabilities in tool design based on customer drawings and specific requirements. We minimize secondary operations by providing high productivity & better tool life. The complete mechanical testing process from raw material to in-process to the final product, adheres to national & international standards. Multi-station cold forging, latest rolling machines, and fully-automated SCADA operated continuous mesh belt furnace can produce various types of High Tensile Fasteners.

Our engineering team’s collaborative approach allows us to play an active role in product design, innovation and development where application, cost, quality, productivity and lead time recommendations are highly prioritized. We ensure our developed products meet the specific requirements in their new applications. With advanced capabilities in product design, development & manufacturing, we bridge the gaps of application engineering in customer assembly lines and deliver unique value to our customers.
